Olea Serengeti Camp was shaped around a simple idea: travellers should be able to experience the beauty and excitement of the Serengeti while returning each day to a place that feels peaceful, comfortable and genuinely welcoming. Our location in Hembe places the camp within the wider Central Serengeti landscape, where open plains, acacia country, wildlife routes and distant hills create the classic atmosphere associated with an African safari. We are not an oversized resort and we do not seek to separate guests from the character of the wilderness. Instead, Olea offers an intimate nine-room tented camp where the natural environment remains central to the experience. The smaller scale of the camp creates a relaxed atmosphere in which guests can enjoy privacy without feeling isolated. Travellers meet around the dining table, unwind in the lounge, share stories at the bar and gather beside the campfire as the stars appear. Our five room categories allow us to welcome different types of visitors. Solo travellers can enjoy their own private retreat. Couples can share a peaceful safari escape. Friends can stay in a twin or triple arrangement, while families can remain together within accommodation suited to their journey
